Celebrating the Mahata Gandhi 150 Years

db0f6af9-8859-496e-8387-87ea35687b2d

This is the landmark 150th year of Mahatma Gandhi and the time to reaffirm the relevance of Mahatma Gandhi in these fast changing times. We need to sit, ponder and assess the path we are on, to make space for the most vulnerable, the poor and the downtrodden. Truth and non-violence need to be reinvented and this can happen only if Gandhi is resurrected once again!
Gandhi Peace Centre Australia’s 150th Year of Gandhi Celebration is in association with Ministry of Culture, Government of India. GPCA will upload our forthcoming events and photos/ videos on the Government of India website https://www.gandhi.gov.in/

At Gandhi Peace Centre Australia, we are looking forward to organising programs to create awareness of the Gandhian principles and their relevance in the present situation. The programs would include cultural programs, debates, painting competitions, etc.

We hope to organize a grand programme as a culmination of the 150th year of The Mahatma in October where we expect the participation of leaders, intellectuals, artists and academicians from both India and Australia.

We invite you to join us in this task to take Gandhi to the people of Australia by enrolling as a member of GPCA. Kindly pm me for membership form - annual membership fees $10 and for unemployed/ seniors $5
